The Kolkata Study Circle Foundation (KSCF) is a non-profit organization which is working for the betterment of Indian society through anthropological interventions. The field of research includes topics from ethnography, ethnology, archaeology, linguistics and genetics. The aim of the organization is to augment on various debates and discussions through communications among research scholars of all regions of the world, in a collective effort to develop human knowledge. In such manner this particular organization seeks to add into the notion of better understanding our society, and to ensure a sustainable future which can be only done through realizing the current situations and improving them gradually.
The Kolkata Study Circle Foundation (KSCF) is a non-profit organization which is open to all social researchers either qualified in, or else working in, India. It is an organization which also offers scholarship, founded on February 27th, 2020 at the University of Calcutta in West Bengal. Of the 5 members, 4 are residing in Kolkata and 1 is residing in Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The objectives of the organization are very simple i.e., to promote social research which would aid the poorest of the poor.
