Brief Information
The KSCF is led by Professor Subrata Sankar Bagchi. He resides in West Bengal, India, and is now the prestigious Dr B.R. Ambedkar Chair Professor in Anthropology. Formerly, Subrata Sankar Bagchi also served as the Principal at Bangabasi College, Associate Professor in Anthropology at Bangabasi Evening College, Visiting Professor in Anthropology at the University of Ottawa, Canada, Visiting Fellow at the Goethe University, Germany and Dundee University, Scotland. He has penned four books, edited two volumes, contributed seven book chapters, published 24 scholarly articles in peer reviewed national and international journals, 10 review articles, and contributed many other institutional and regional publications. He was also elected as a Fellow of Royal Anthropology Institute and Royal Asiatic Society of UK and Ireland.
Brief Information
Suman Hazra is presently working as an Assistant Professor in Anthropology at Sree Chaitanya College. Prior to that, he was engaged as a Research Fellow at The Asiatic Society, participating in the History of Medicine Fellowship. In 2011, he undertook the doctoral research program funded by the UGC-NET-JRF at the Department of Anthropology, University of Calcutta. He has several publications to his credit.
Brief Information
Kaustav Das is a faculty member in the Department of Anthropology, Bangabasi College, Kolkata, India. He has been pursuing his PhD research work at the University of Calcutta. As a Research Assistant in the National Nutrition Monitoring Bureau, West Bengal Unit under the Indian Council of Medical Research, Govt. of India, worked on assessing the diet and nutritional status of several rural and urban communities in West Bengal for more than five years. He has also published 26 research articles in various national and international journals and edited volumes. His current research focuses on public health, nutritional anthropometry, ethnography, human gut microbiology, tribal studies etc.

Satyaki Paul is currently working as a Ph.D. scholar attached with the Department of Anthropology, University of Calcutta. Formerly, he was working as a Content Developer for Chronicle Civil Services Magazine, 2018 to 2019. Later, he was also working as a Team Lead for GS World IAS Institute, New Delhi.
Brief Information
Sabatini Chatterjee is currently holding Junior Research Fellowship at Anthropological Survey of India (AnSI). Formerly, she was working as a Research Assistant at Cultural Research Institute under the Backward Class Welfare Department Government of West Bengal from 2018 to 2021.
